The Travelling Grape Wine Tour Company offers customized wine tours to our clients that no other tour group offers. We do not have 'preset wineries' that we visit on each tour. We can, and will visit any winery in Ontario based on your preferences!

Step 1:
Once your group is signed up for a Traveling Grape Wine Tour, each member will start their journey by filling in a questionnaire, which will identify your experience, tasting preferences, where you've been, and what your goals are.

Step 2:
Next, our highly trained tour guide will analyze your answers from your questionnaire and develop your very own customized wine tour! At that point, a preliminary itinerary will be sent to each member of your tour group and if the program is accepted your journey will begin! Not happy with your wine tour program? That's ok! We will ensure adjustments are made to suit your needs!

Let's Get Touring!
On the date of your customized wine tour, your expert tour guide will pick your party up at the destination of your choice between (Kitchener/Waterloo and the wine region destination). Each member will receive a hard copy paper Tour Manual of how your day's events will proceed, which will include highlights of the wineries you will be visiting.

Sit back and enjoy the scenery as your tour guide explains the fundamentals of wine tasting, wine production and the climate the grapes are grown in.

Slip away from the winter blues to experience one of Canada's truly unique experiences - Ice Wine! Travellers journey from distant lands to visit southern Ontario and enjoy the world’s greatest ice wines. There are few places in the world that can compare with Canadian ice wine. True ice wine production requires a warm growing season followed by a chilling winter.

The VQA (Vintners' Quality Alliance), defines ice wine as "exhibiting rich aromas and flavours of ripe tropical fruits such as lychee, papaya and pineapple. They are sweet but have a firm backbone of acidity that makes them perfectly balanced, not cloying on the palate. Icewines are often enjoyed with desserts or on their own for dessert but also make a perfect complement for rich savoury foods such as foie gras or aged blue cheeses. Icewine is also used as a "dosage" for Sparkling Wine and as a flavourful addition to cocktails."

Try Fruit Please! a dynamic tour that explores all of the different variations of fruit wine and wines made from ingredients other than grapes. This tour can be applied to any of Ontario's wine regions.

Fruit Please! is recommended for those who are just beginning their wine experience. Fruit wine is often referred to as the 'gate way' to the world of wine. Fruit wines range from sweet, off-dry, to dry and come in many different forms! Come experience Ontario fruit wines and taste what you have been missing!
